Reginald D. Harris made his heavenly transition on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 61.  He lived a life defined by faith, love, and service to others.  Whether in his tax office or at home, Reg faithfully invested in the lives of others and reflected Christ through his generosity and unwavering devotion.

Born on November 28, 1964, in Houston, Texas, Reginald was the eldest son of Freddie and Darnell Hinton Harris.  He was raised alongside his younger brothers, Gerry Harris and Terrance Harris.

Faith was the cornerstone of Reginald's life, and he shared his love for Jesus Christ whenever the opportunity arose.  He accepted Christ at an early age at Evangelist Chapel A.M.E. Church under the pastorate of the Reverend Richard T.Jenkins.  Later in life, he joined The Fountain of Praise Church under the leadership of Dr. Remus E.Wright.

Reginald attended Ross Sterling High School and furthered his education at Texas Southern University in Houston.  While in high school, he met the love of his life, Marsha Hall.  They were united in marriage on September 30, 2000, by his uncle, the Reverend Harvey McGruder.  Their union was blessed with two loving children, Jordan and Raigan Harris.  He also cherished his bonus sister, Retta Hall, and his nephew, Marcus S. "Falcon" Hall.

An accomplished entrepreneur, Reginald was the founder and CEO of MHRH Tax Service in Houston, which he proudly operated for more than 30 years.  He developed a wonderful rapport with his clients and genuinely enjoyed serving them throughout the years.

Reginald was loving, kind, caring, and deeply supportive of his family and friends.  He especially enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings and traveling with his wife and family during their summer vacations. His warmth, generosity, and devotion created lasting memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Reginald was preceded in death by his mother, Darnell Hinton Harris, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hinton and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Marsha; two beloved children, Jordan and Raigan Harris; his father, Freddie Harris; two brothers, Gerry (Paula) Harris of League City, Texas and Terrance Harris of Pearland, Texas; his father-in-law, Rapheal Hall; sisters-in-law, Dena Hall Bankett (Devon) and Retta Hall; brother-in-law, Marcus F. (Bronwyn) Hall; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, clients, and dear friends.
